Date set for BioShock 2

Having joined the mass exodus that has to date defined the upcoming release schedule for Q4 this year, publisher 2K Games has now said that BioShock 2 will be released worldwide on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on February 9th next year.

Set a decade after the events of the smash-hit debut offering in the series, players assume the role of the first game’s iconic villain – Big Daddy – in effort to save the innocent children that have been mysteriously vanishing from the Atlantic coast and making their way to Rapture.

The game is currently in development at 2K Marin with help from 2K Australia, 2K China and Digital Extremes.
