DayZ dev Dean Hall working on VR game

The creator of DayZ Dean Hall is developing a virtual reality title for Valve’s SteamVR.

That’s according to Eurogamer, who says that Hall told the site that the game in question is not the previously-announced space-simulation title Ion.

"My studio RocketWerkz is [looking at VR],” Hall said. Not for [Ion].”

Eurogamer pressed about this other game and Hall confirmed that there was another game in the works, that it was for VR and that it was for Valve’s Steam VR platform.

Hall announced on-stage at Microsoft’s E3 briefing that he and his New Zealand-based studio RocketWerkz was developing a new title called Ion alongside British development firm Improbable.

Hall is best known as being the mind behind Steam Early Access darling DayZ.
