DC Universe priced on PSN

Sony has announced that PS3 MMO title DC Universe Online will be released on the PlayStation Store as a downloadable purchase.

It will cost 39.99 in the UK and €49.99 in mainland Europe. It will include a free 30-day subscription to the game. No firm release date has yet been confirmed.

Currently the boxed version of the game can be found for around 35 online, though indie retailer ShopTo is currently selling it for under 30.

Upon its release in January DC Universe Online broke records for developer Sony Online Entertainment.

It was also revealed last month that the game has seen a 45/55 split in sales across PS3 and PC respectively.
