Doctor Who game dated

Tonight’s episode of BBC sci-fi drama Doctor Who was followed by the first national TV trailer for the upcoming Doctor Who: The Adventure Games – which, it has now been revealed, will be released on June 5th.

The free PC game is set in the 1960s and will feature the new breed of multicoloured Daleks that escaped the clutches of the Doctor just two hours ago on BBC One.

Featuring the likenesses and voices of the show’s current stars, Matt Smith and Karen Gillen, the new game is being developed by established UK studio Sumo Digital. Also involved in famed adventure games creator Charles Cecil of Revolution Software.

And, thanks the BBC’s public service remit, Auntie not allowed the charge for the game – meaning fans of the show will get to play all four for free.
