Dragon Age DLC generates $1 million

Downloadable content sales for Dragon Age: Origins have already surpassed the $1 million mark.

This figure does not include the free DLC that was available with various boxed sets and pre-order SKUs of the game.

During its presentation at the BMO Capital Markets conference, Electronic Arts revealed this landmark had been achieved within the RPG’s first week on sales, according to G4TV.

Dragon Age just launched a week ago – it’s doing very well,” said EA’s CFO Eric Brown.

The game was designed at the outset to have extensive PDLC at launch, as well as through the next 12-plus months of its lifespan. We’re well past one million in PDLC, so the attach rate appears pretty good.”
