Dragon’s Dogma Online hits 1m downloads

Capcom’s free-to-play game Dragon’s Dogma Online has racked up more than 1m downloads since its release last month.

DualShockersreports the PS3, PS4 and PC editions of the title have combined to reach the milestone just 10 days after its August 27thlaunch in Japan. The publisher adds that over 370,000 characters have been created in that time.

There’s been no word from Capcom yet about the possibility of a western release. Capcom launched the original Dragon’s Dogma worldwide in May 2012 on PS3 and Xbox 360.

An expanded and enhanced version – Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen – is in the works for a January 2016 release on Windows PC.
