DriveClub PS+ Upgrade now available for £19.99 on PSN

Sony has cut the price of DriveClub’s PlayStation Plus Edition Full Game Upgrade to 19.99 on PSN.

The game had until now been available for 34.99 to PS+ members, which is now the price of the full game to non PS+ members.

The Full Game Upgrade was initially designed to let those who had downloaded the free PS+ version of the game pay to access all of the content reserved for the full game.

However, the Free PS+ Edition remains missing in action, three months after the game’s release – although it is not required to run the Upgrade version.

The taster was to include ten cars and five tracks from the full game. However, when DriveClub launched to significant technical problems fears arose that the free version would be delayed. And it was – indefinitely – and we’re yet to hear anything beyond vague assertions that the free version is still on both Evolution’s and Sony’s roadmap.

At least owners of the full game are now able to enjoy a fully functional title.
