DriveClub release date to be announced ‘shortly’

Sony has promised that it will soon have concrete news concerning the release of DriveClub.

The game was originally pencilled in as a launch title for the launch of PS4 in the West but was delayed just a month before the console arrived in Europe.

It has since carried an early 2014” release date and was provisionally pencilled in as a Japanese PS4 launch title for February 22nd. However, it’s now going to miss that date too.

"The team at Evolution Studios are working hard to bring DriveClub, a truly next gen driving experience to PS4 and we will announce the release date shortly,” a Sony rep told IGN. We’re really excited about how DriveClub is progressing and thank you for your patience."
