EA dates Medal of Honor

Avoiding the competition or getting the jump on a key rival? Whatever you call it, EA has confirmed that it’s relaunch of the Medal of Honor franchise will arrive in the UK on October 15th – just 25 days ahead of Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops.

This will give it just three weeks in the ELSPA GfK Chart-Track All Formats Top 40 before it will have to fend off the advances of Treyarch’s shooter.

EA has high hopes of its modern military shooter following the success it has enjoyed so far this year with fellow FPS release Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Titles yet to be dated include Microsoft’s Halo Reach, EA’s Crysis 2, Activision’s Singularity, Bethesda’s Brink and Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Predator.
