EA: Peggle 2 is coming later this year

Nothing was shown, by EA quickly announced a sequel to Peggle will be out this year.

The casual game is one of PopCap’s titles with a big cult following, famous for its use of music and unique ball-and-peg gameplay, and iconic characters – including its unicorn hero.

PopCap boss John Vechey quickly announced the game was coming after demoing Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare on stage.
