EA petrol promo hits the airwaves

Today’s release of Pandemic’s Mercenaries 2: World in Flames has received a bit of high-level exposure today thanks to a free petrol giveaway in London.

EA’s promotion saw 20,000 of free petrol being given out to punters – with each receiving a maximum of 40 worth of fuel. The excitement saw stations such as the BBC covering the events as part of its morning travel roundup.

The event saw the forecourt of the Last Stop petrol station in Finsbury Park inundated with motorists, and several security guards have been posted to deal with the grumpy commuters once the petrol eventually runs dry.
