EA Q1: FIFA 13 saw $70m through digital sales in last three months

FIFA 13 has brought in $70m in revenue from digital sales over the past three months, according to EA.

The firm included the figure in its Q1 FY2014 financial report earlier today, noting that the $70m is derived on a non-GAAP basis.

The total amounted to a 92 per cent increase over FIFA 12’s digital performance during the same period last year.

EA reported in May that the game sold 14.5m units in its fiscal 2013, generating $350m in digital revenue for the period.
