EA’s PGA Tour Golf hits Facebook

Publisher EA has released a new free-to-play golf game on Facebook.

EA Sports PGA Tour Golf Challenge, which is developed by EA Tiburon, blends to connectivity of the social network with proper 3D graphics and a host of real-life golf courses including Pebble Beach, St Andrews and Sawgrass.

Casual-friendly controls are designed to appeal to a wide audience while daily challenges and weekly competitions should tap into the world of simple, competitive online gaming.

Golfers can be customised while progressing through the game earns a player XP with which new modes and extras can be acquired. Alternatively, users can buy the upgrades via micro-transactions.
