Epic Mickey 2 PC and Mac versions revealed

Disney’s upcoming Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is to receive a PC/Mac release.

The publisher confirmed toGameInformerthat the sequel will shed its previously announced console-only label that the original game also held.

Disney added that the version will be a hybrid PC/Mac release, which would seem to fall right into the realm of a SteamPlay title (though no confirmation on how and where the game will be distributed as of yet).

The game is currently targeted for a September 2012 release on Xbox 360, PS3, (both being developed by Blitz Games) and Wii (developed by Junction Point Studios). No word yet on which, if either, of the two development teams will take on the PC/Mac version.
