Now open to submissions worldwide, the awards have a number of categories that recognise the vital contribution audio makes to video games. Anyone involved in crafting outstanding sonic experiences is invited to enter.

- Best Sound Design in a Video Game – Gameplay
- Best Sound Design in a Video Game – Cinematics + Cutscenes
- Best Sound Design in a Video Game Trailer
- Best Voice Performance in a Video Game
- Best Sync in a Video Game Trailer
- Best Use of Production/Library Music in a Video Game Trailer
- Best Re-Record / Adaptation in a Video Game Trailer
