Alienware Game Victorious 2012 Battlegrounds comes to India

High-performance PC gaming brand Alienware has launched an online gaming tournament for the Asia-Pacific region, which will be hosted on AlienwareArena.com.

Aside from India, Alienware Game Victorious 2012 Battlegrounds is also open to competitive gamers from Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, Japan and China.

The tournament is designed to cater to both professional competitive gamers as well as enthusiasts. Games at the Indian leg of the tournament include DOTA 2, League of Legends and Team Fortress 2. All games have an online Open League category, while DOTA 2 has an invitational Elite League as well as an Open League.

The top teams from around India will qualify for the national finals in October, where $13,000 worth of prize will be up for grabs.

The DOTA 2 national winning team will also gain entry into the Asian Cyber Games DOTA 2 Grand Finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 8-9 December 2012, which boasts a total cash prize pool of $30,000. Alienware will also provide $10,000 towards the winning team’s travel expenses.
