Bigpoint to open UK office

Online social games expert Bigpoint is to open an office in the UK, creating between five and ten jobs in the process.

It will be doing the same in Paris, too, as the company looks to radically expand its Western European operations. The new teams will be chiefly tasked with growing Bigpoint’s sales networks.

Former ITV International marketing director and Bigpoint’s current product marketing boss Paul Raven will head up the London office. Meanwhile, Cdric Gnin joins the firm from SFR and becomes MD of the French and Italian operations. He has previously worked for Activision and Infogrames.

In addition, new Italian and Spanish offices will open in Q2 2012.
