Peace Walker gets delayed

The latest instalment in the globally popular Metal Gear Solid series has seen its UK release date slip by nearly a month, Konami has stated.

Speaking to CVG, the publisher stated that Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will now hit UK retail on June 18th.

Originally it had been penned in for a May 28th release.

The game is set in the 1970s, ten years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3. The series’ creator Hideo Kojima has previously stated that Peace Walker had originally been envisioned as the next numbered instalment in the series.
