Evolve alpha arrives on PS4, extended through tomorrow for all platforms

2K Games has announced the Evolve alpha is now available for PlayStation 4 owners to participate in.

The event arrived on schedule for Xbox One and Windows PC versions of the upcoming game, but was postponed on PS4 due to firmware issues relating to Sony’s 2.00 update for the console.

In effort to make up for the delay, 2K has extended the alpha period on all three platforms through tomorrow (Novembr 4th) at 12PM PST.

Evolve launches February 10th, 2015 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. As for Sony’s firmware issues, the company stated the following this past weekend via the official PlayStation Twitter account:

We’re aware of issues happening post PS4 2.00 firmware, including some freezes and boot errors. Working to resolve ASAP, will update soon."
