Fable Legends for PC won’t be available on Steam

It looks as if the PC version of Fable Legends will only be available through the Windows 10 store.

Microsoft has not been specific about the launch details of its exclusive games such as Fable Legends and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, but Lionhead’s social media coordinator @LHAlbionGirl confirmed on Twitter that the game will not be available through Steam.

As noted by Neogaf, Beyond Eyes – which only has timed console exclusivity on Xbox One – was recently released on Steam.

However, what plans are in place for long-term Xbox console exclusives Cuphead and Ashen or first party titles Gigantic and Sea of Thieves remains unknown.

What is confirmed, however, is that all of these games will require Windows 10, although whether that’s due to deliberate compatibility requirements or limited availability through the Windows 10 store remains unclear.
