Fallout 3 set for global takeover

Bethesda Softworks has announced a new partnership with Connect Entertainment, arranging for its latest bestseller Fallout 3 to be distributed across a range of emerging markets throughout the world.

Released in North America and Europe towards the end of October, the publisher’s first venture with the iconic post-apocalyptic RPG licence will now be heading to 19 new regions around the globe on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Under the terms of the deal, Bethesda will be releasing Fallout 3 in Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Lebanon, Qatar, Egypt, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro.

The game has already seen both critical and commercial success after its US and UK debuts, reaching the top of the UK charts in its first week and outselling all previous Fallout titles and spin-offs combined.
