Far Cry 2 sells a million

French publishing giant Ubisoft has stated that its recently released Xbox 360, PS3 and PC first person shooter Far Cry 2 has hit the one million sales milestone after less than three weeks on the market.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said of the news: The holiday quarter is off to a solid start with the successful launch of Far Cry 2. The game is well on track to achieve our expectations for the year.”

Far Cry 2 boasts a huge explorable game world set in a war-torn Africa, complete with a 24 hour day-night cycle.
