FEAR 3 multiplayer hiccup on PS3

Warner has confirmed that the Online Pass required to play FEAR 3 online is not currently available for purchase from the PlayStation Store.

Whilst this is not a problem for those who bought the game new – an Online Pass code was included in the box – it does mean that pre-owned buyers are unable to obtain a new code to take the game online.

We’re working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue,” Warner told Eurogamer.

The FEAR Pass providing access to FEAR 3 multiplayer modes ‘F**king Run!’ and ‘Soul Survivor’ is not currently available for purchase on the SCEE PSN Store.

However, players who have purchased the game new and have the FEAR Pass code that was included with their retail copy ARE currently able to download these modes as instructed on the DLC card that was delivered with the original packaging."

The FEAR Pass is available for purchase on Xbox Live.
