Ferrari returns to Need for Speed

EA has announced that seven years on from its last appearance in a Need for Speed title, Ferrari is to make a return to the series in the form of an Xbox 360 only DLC pack for NFS: Shift.

Ten cars in total will be included as part of the download – the F50 GT, F430 Spider, FXX, Superamerica, 599 GTB Fiorano, F430 Challenge, F430 GTC, 430 Scuderia, California and 16M Scuderia Spider.

The download will also extend Shift’s career mode, adding 46 new Ferrari specific challenges. An extra 125 Gamerpoints will also be up for grabs. All of the cars will also be useable online, too.

Need for Speed is recognised globally for showcasing amazing cars, including some of the world’s most desirable high-performance vehicles,” EA VP Keith Munro stated.

We are thrilled to be partnering again with Ferrari.”

The Ferrari Racing Series DLC will be released on Xbox Live on February 16th. It will cost 800 MS Points.
