FIFA 17 tops SuperData March UK Digital charts

EA’s FIFA 17 was the highest grossing console game digitally in the UK last month.

SuperData’s March 2017 chart has the football sim way out front in the listings, with digital revenues of 7.38m.

Next up was the current physical charts No.1, Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands, with digital console revenues of 4.53m. This was just ahead of EA shooter Battlefield 1, which reached 4.21m.

It’s interesting to see that Battlefield 1 continues to outpace Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare digitally, while the Activision game performs better in the traditional physical market. Infinite Warfare ranked sixth in the SuperData numbers with revenues of 3.23m. Last year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops III also makes the Top Ten at No.9, however, with revenues of 1.64m.

Grand Theft Auto V performs well in both listings, however, ranking fifth in the digital charts with 3.76m, sitting just behind Sony’s Horizon Zero Dawn at 3.95m.

Also doing well digitally is Studio Wildcard’s ARK: Survival Evolved, which claimed seventh place thanks to revenues of 1.7m.
