FIFA and PES demos tomorrow

Konami has confirmed that the Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 demo will be released on multiple platforms tomorrow – the same day as EA releases its first public FIFA 11 taster.

Last year’s collision between the pair saw EA’s title emerge very much as the victor, breaking sales records for the brand and, according to EA, outselling PES by a ratio of 4-to-1.

FIFA was also the star performer on a critical level, too, averaging a Metacritic average of 90 per cent compared to PES 2010’s 78 per cent.

Konami has promised a radical overhaul to this year’s game in an effort to win back some market share, though EA clearly remains confident it will maintain its advantage.

FIFA 11 will be released in the UK on October 1st, one week ahead of the arrival of PES 2011 on October 8th.
