Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster gets PS4 release date

Square Enix has confirmed a release date for its Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster bundle on the PS4.

The games will be released in the US on May 12th. A European date has yet to be officially confirmed, although expect it to be in and around the same time.

Those who pre-order the game will get a free desktop calendar that features artwork created by celebrated industry artist Yoshitaka Amano.

The Remasters were originally released on PS3 and Vita early last year. Cross-saves are supported across both those releases and the PS4 version, as is Vita Remote Play.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster isn’t the only HD re-release on the way from Square Enix this year. Final Fantasy Type-0 is due out on PS4 in March.
