Following one cancellation, now another Batman Arkham Knight SKU has been delayed

There’s yet another problem with one of the special edition versions of Batman: Arkham Knight.

Last week it was reported that the game’s 169 Batmobile Edition has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances that greatly compromised the quality of the Batmobile” vehicle that was the star of the bundle.

Now Eurogamer reports that Amazon’s exclusive 80 Limited Edition has been delayed as the manufacturer has advised us that there’s been a packaging quality issue", the retailer has told customers.

Added Amazon: "We want to ensure that your order reaches you in pristine condition and your item, with the updated packaging, should be with you no later than 14 July, 2015."

The SKU’s listing on Amazon carries a less encouraging message, however, stating: "We don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock."

UPDATE: Amazon has told MCV that this message reflects the fact that the SKU has long since sold out, and has nothing to do with the promised future availability for those who have existing orders.

Those who ordered the SKU will receive a download code so they can enjoy the game when it is launched tomorrow (June 23rd).
