Fruit Ninja merchandise incoming

Australian studio Half Brick has licensed several companies to begin producing consumer products for its bestselling casual franchise Fruit Ninja.

With over 300 million downloads on iPhone, iPad, and Android, Fruit Ninja is one of the best selling games in mobile history, and has been released for a variety of other platforms including Xbox Kinect and Facebook.

"Since Fruit Ninja is already an international phenomenon, we thought it was crucial to expand the brand’s reach and engage our fruit-slicing fanatics around the world," said Halfbrick CEO Shainiel Deo.

"We have handpicked some of the best consumer product companies in the international marketplace and look forward to unveiling our line-up to old and new fans."

The product line-up includes plush toys, shoes, phone covers, wallets, coffee mugs, "and augmented reality apparel".
