Funding boost for Scandinavian developers

reports that six developers have been named as the winners of the Nordic Game Program’s second funding round of 2007.

The six studios win a share of 2.3 million DKK, with the largest amount going to Tarsier Studios, developers of the previously announced audio recording-based game The City of Metronome.

Also on the receiving end of funding were Danish studios Digital Out, Frecle and UOVO, Swedish developer Funkis Multimedia and Finland-based Secret Exit. Two other companies also won 100,000 DKK each to improve their submissions for the next round of funding.
