GSC becomes 360 developer

GSC Game World, the developer behind critically applauded post-Chernobyl FPS S.T.A.L.K.E.R. has been confirmed as an Xbox 360 developer, paving the way for the studio to branch out into multiplatform development.

"Obtaining such a status for an independent developer based in ex-USSR means a lot, and it took us over two years to get," GSC Game World CEO Sergiy Grygorovych stated.

"Our old ambition to create multiplatform projects has become a reality. Creating games for PC, we achieved practically everything, and now are prepared to garner the top spots in sales charts and gamers’ recognition in the world of console games too.”
