Future hires Richard Haley as CFO

Tesco Extras UK financial director Richard Haley is set to become Future’s new CFO, the games media company has announced.

Haley will join the Future team as of October 1st of this year, at which point he will also assume the role of company secretary.

Prior to his current position at Tesco, Haley served as the firm’s group financial controller – following twelve years in senior management at US audit, tax and advisory services company KPMG.

Richard brings a wealth of experience within the retail sector and is of enormous value to us as we continue with the transformation plans already announced," Future CEO Zillah Byng-Maddick said.

Future is in the midst of a company-wide restructuring process, which includes the selling off of certain magazine properties as well as significant staff cuts.
