Raspberry Pi B+ expands mini computer’s hardware

Raspberry Pi creators have announced the miniature computer hardware’s final evolution” is out now for purchase.

The Raspberry Pi blog unveils Model B+—a new version of the hardware that improves on the original with two additional USB 2.0 ports, a new micro SD slot, lower power usage and better audio.

The only area where the new Raspberry Pi model fails to exceed the original is in its price, as B+ boasts the same modest tag of $35.

The debut Raspberry Pi model had racked up 2.5m units sold as of March of this year. Here’s a look at the new product launch video:
