Gambit Esports ditches LoL roster except for DiamondProx after Split struggles

After a poor performance from Gambit Esports in the LCL Spring Split, Gambit has announced that it’ll be getting rid of all of its League of Legend players except jungler Danil ‘DiamondProx’ Reshetnikov.

Viacheslav ‘Archie2b’ Egorov’s contract was not renewed, while Michal ‘zoiren’ Zika, Valentin ‘NikSar’ Zimakov and Ivan ‘FiRees’ Silantiev have been moved to substitute positions, with Gambit making it clear that other teams can field offers for the players.

Gambit placed 6th in the LCL, missing out on the playoff tournament and scrabbling to avoid relegation.

After dispensing with their current roster — Reshetnikov excluded — Gambit are now hoping to recruit players who have achieved local success already, and have some competitive experience performing on a global scale.
