GAME Stores opening early for Skylanders launch

GAME is opening its doors before school to celebrate the launch of Activision’s Skylanders Giants.

32 stores – including Aberdeen, Nottingham and Poole outlets – will open at 7am on Friday (October 19th), while a further 199 will open at or before 8:30.

We can’t wait for this new giant Skylanders adventure to start. The franchise has captured the imagination of kids around the world and taken the game and toy industry by storm,” said GAME’s marketing director Anna-Marie Mason.

We know that children up and down the country will want to get their copy of Skylanders Giants as quickly as possible this Friday, so we will be opening 231 stores before the school run begins.”

Skylanders Giants features larger characters plus a whole host of new figures that light up. GAME is also selling an exclusive glow-in-the-dark portal.
