Game & Wario to retail for $39.99 in North America

Wii U release Game & Wario will cost $39.99 when it arrives at retail in North America this June.

Joystiq reports Nintendo’s collection of mini-games, built for the Wii U’s GamePad, will retail at $20 less than the standard US retail release.

Amazon posted a pre-order page for the game over the weekend showing the price, and Nintendo later confirmed the validity of the price listing.

Curiously, Best Buy is still listing the game for $59.99 – though it could simply be a placeholder cost that has yet to be changed.

Game & Wario launches on June 23rd in North America. The title launched in Japan in late March, and has yet to be given any kind of official retail date for UK or Europe.
