"On behalf of GamesAid, I would like to thank everyone who stuck in a tenner as requested during the MCV Awards. The individuals and companies who donated via the Just Giving page also played a hugely significant role," commented MCV publisher and Intent Media boss Stuart Dinsey.

"It is a tremendous effort by everyone and I know that everyone involved with GamesAid is delighted that so many different people contributed."

Over 620 retailers, media and trade executives jammed into The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London for MCV Industry Excellence Awards last Thursday (April 7th).

A full update of winners and photos is available now.
