Gauntlet reboot delayed, still arrives next month

Those waiting for Arrowhead Game Studios’ upcoming Gauntlet reboot will have to wait just a bit longer, as the game has suffered a slight delay.

Originally scheduled for a Septemer 3rd arrival, the update on the classic dungeon crawler will now launch September 23rd on Steam. Arrowhead explains the delay is due to the game’s multiplayer mode needing some additional fine-tuning.

Additionally, publisher Warner Bros is offering an extra in-game bonus item – The Spawn of Kerthull wizard robe – for pre-orders to both make up for the delay and as a thank you for support.

Gauntlet will be available for Windows PC and Linux platforms.
