Goat Simulator borrows a page from DayZ this week with GoatZ DLC

Goat Simulator is primed to receive a zombie survival game mode with the release of the DayZ-inspired GoatZ DLC later this week.

Tongue planted firmly in cheek, developer Coffee Stain Studios boasts that GoatZ is the only survival game on Steam that isn’t in Early Access.” Though the claim isn’t all that removed from reality.

The DLC’s feature list carries some gems as well, such as mandatory crafting system because everyone else is doing it,” and you can craft anything in the world, as long as it’s one of the half dozen weapons in the game.”

GoatZ arrives via Steam for PC, Mac and Linux on May 7th. It’ll cost $4.99. Coffee Stain also plans on releasing standalone GoatZ iOS and Android apps on the same day, for the same price.
