Gran Turismo 5 for £4.99

Entertainment retailer HMV is to sell Sony’s Gran Turismo 5 for just 4.99 next week to any customer happy to trade-in a copy of Codemasters’ F1 2010 for PS3.

The deal will run between the game’s release on Wednesday November 24th and Friday November 26th.

The offer echoes the trade-in deal HMV ran for Call of Duty: Black Ops earlier in the month. Then gamers were able to snag a copy of the game for 7.99 if they traded in EA’s Medal of Honor.

Expect details of further retail offers to emerge through the weekend. Gran Turismo 5 is arguably the last big triple-A console release of the year, though we might yet see further retail clamour around the release of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm on December 7th.
