Green Day: Rock Band dated

Green Day: Rock Band will launch worldwide on June 8th, MTV has announced.

The game will feature 47 tracks, including classic songs such as Hitchin’ a Ride and Brain Stew – and will launch on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii.

Other goodies locked in the game includes interviews, unreleased videos and 100s of images.

The game will also make use of the three-part vocal harmony technology that was used in last year’s The Beatles: Rock Band.

The game will be distributed in Europe by EA, as will Rock Band 3, which was announced earlier this week.
