Grow Home wins first PS Plus Vote to play contest

Ubisoft’s quirky platformer Grow Home will be released on PS4, and will be free to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

The existence of the console version of the game was uncovered last month at the same time Sony unveiled plans to allow gamers to vote on future PS+ Instant Game Collections selections.

Grow Home has now been named as the winner of that vote, and will be free on PS+ at release.

SCEE community manager Frannifer revealed on Twitter that the title swept to victory with 44 per cent of the vote, beating Zombie Vikings and Armello.

Grow Home was released in February. In an unusual departure for Ubisoft, the game was released on Steam instead of via its own uPlay store. A possible console release was teased shortly after, although it was said to be dependent on the title’s PC success.
