Harmonix releases VidRhythm for iOS

The makers of Rock Band and Dance Central have released a new music game on Apple’s App Store.

Entitled VidRhythm, the Harmonix title allows players to put together music videos based on short clips they take with their iPhone or iPad camera. These can then be remixed so that sounds from the clips form the rhythm of the video.

TouchArcade reports that the app is easy to use, with VidRhythm suggesting which sounds users should focus on and then automatically creating full video remixes from them.

Harmonix’s new game is available now through the App Store for 1.49 and is compatible with both iPhone and iPad.
