HAWX barrel rolls back to 2009

French publisher Ubisoft has announced that its upcoming Tom Clancy themed flight-sim HAWX will now not be released this year, and has instead pencilled it in for a Q1 2009 release,

reports.

Also slipping, albeit ever so slightly, is Geatbox’s WWII FPS Brothers in Arms: Hells’ Highway – which will now hit UK retail on September 26th.

However, there’s still plenty lined up for release for the rest of year from the firm. Fellow Tom Clancy title EndWar, which will boast voice-controlled RTS gameplay, is still due out before the end of the year.

Also upcoming is the hugely promising free-roaming FPS sequel Far Cry 2, the visually stunning Prince of Persia and the promising Shaun White Snowboarding.
