Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls headed to PS4

The last two interactive drama titles from Quantic Dream are getting a re-release on PS4.

2010’s Heavy Rain and its spiritual successor, 2013’s Beyond: Two Souls, were originally released for the PS3.

Both titles are notable for their heavy focus on narrative, with multiple branching paths and complex characterisation.

They were both praised for their graphical fidelity too, with Beyond starring facial and vocal performances from Hollywood actors Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe.

Now, French developer Quantic Dream is revamping both games for PS4.

Heavy Rain and Beyond will be available separately as digital downloads, with a bundled collecting both titles coming to both digital and physical.

As far as PlayStation’s announcement of the remastered versions reveals, the new editions of both games will only be released in PAL regions – meaning, of course, that they’re coming to the UK and Europe.

No further details such as a release date or price were revealed, with more information promised ‘soon’.
