Homefront: The Revolution director quits Crytek, report claims

The situation at Crytek’s UK studio appears to be worsening.

Following reports of unpaid wages and staff walkouts over the last month, Kotaku now reports that the director of the recently announced Homefront: The Revolution Hasit Zala has resigned.

Zala is also franchise director for free-to-play title Warface.

"It creates a weird scenario as there are now no upper management," one source said. "Everything is just continuing on a downwards spiral."

A further source also reiterated that wages are still not being paid.

Other staff departures are now said to have included development manager Ben Harris and studio head Karl Hilton, although the latter has indicated he intends to remain with the company in some capacity.
