Horizon Zero Dawn resurges to deny Arms a UK No.1

Nintendo’s new Switch title Arms has fallen short of the top of the charts thanks to a resurgence from one of 2017’s mainstays.

Following last week’s No.1 for Wipeout: Omega Collection, fellow Sony PS4 exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn claims its second UK No.1, which comes 15 weeks after its first. GfK credits the game’s continued price promotions” for its success.

All of which means Arms has to settle for second place, managing to become the fourth biggest launch weeks release for Switch so far behind Zelda, Mario Kart and 1-2 Switch.

The only other Top 40 debutant is Koch Media’s MotoGP 17, which debuts at No.18. Last week’s No.1, Wipeout, falls to No.5

Here’s the UK Top 10 in full for the week ending June 17th:
1. Horizon Zero Dawn (Sony)
2. Arms (Nintendo)
3. Grand Theft Auto V (Rockstar)
4. Dirt 4 (Codemasters)
5. Wipeout: Omega Collection (Sony)
6. Tekken 7 (Bandai Namco)
7. FIFA 17 (EA)
8. Overwatch (Blizzard)
9. Injustice 2 (Warner Bros)
10. Rocket League (505 Games)
