Humble Bundle 8 off to hot start

The Humble Bundle 8 launched just 12 hours ago and already has its sights on the $1m sales mark.

The latest effort for the semi-annual indie game promotion has (at time of writing) sold over 163k units, bringing in $930k thus far.

The bundle offers five titles – Dear Esther, Little Inferno, Thomas Was Alone, Awesomenauts and Capsized – for whatever price you’d like to pay. The soundtracks for each are also included with the purchase.

Additionally, customers who beat the average price will score Hotline Miami, Proteus, and the Proteus OST on top of everything else.

Humble Bundle has made a habit out of raking in millions during their occasional fortnight-long promotions. Every bundle offers a DRM-free version of each game on Windows, Mac and Linux, and customers can determine how their contribution is split between the developers, charities Child’s Play and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and the company itself.
