I Am Bread is a game in which you play as a slice of bread

The next title from Surgeon Simulator developer Bossa Studios is called I Am Bread.

As the name suggests, it sees players assuming the role of a slice of bread. The physics-based control scheme allows for independent control of each corner allowing the bread to scale walls, manipulate objects and no doubt indulge in all sorts of obscure nonsense.

Ultimately the bread wishes to be toasted, while maintaining its edibility. Is this need indicative of all sliced bread? We don’t know. In some ways we would have thought that bread would be generally opposed to its own toasting. We could well be wrong, however.

It’s certainly a subject worthy of more debate.

There’s no word yet on the release date or platform.
