IN PICTURES: GAME’s Assassin’s Creed III midnight launch

190 GAME stores opened their doors last night to welcome the arrival of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed III to the UK.

GAME’s flagship Stratford store was transformed into a scenic replica of the game’s winter wilderness with Redcoats patrolling the queue”. Ubisoft Annecy developer Tim Browne, meanwhile, was at GAME’s Hull store offering tricks and tips to fans.

Assassin’s Creed III has broken global pre-order records for Ubisoft,” Ubisoft’s UK sales director Darren Bowen stated. We are delighted we were able to celebrate the launch of our biggest game ever with the fans at Stratford.”
